I have not read Fried Green Tomatoes, but I saw the movie, it is one of my all time favorites. When they kept showing the police man eating the BBQ and enjoying it so much, I thought for a second, "no they didn't" and thought to myself "you need to get a grip you watch to much Criminal Minds" then at the end you find out .............. Anything Fanny Flagg is always a pleasure to read. My all time favorite of hers is Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe. Belly laughed through a couple of passages.
