Wow, I am in the minority. I love Facebook and that is where I do most of my socializing with my friends from out of town and where I can voice my opinion to members of my other groups. I have some quilting groups I belong to on there and have purchased things from there. Like anything else, you have to watch what you are doing. To each his/her own.
Exactly! I use FB regularly, but am careful. I don't use my full name, and limit access to my posts. It's one way to stay in frequent contact with extended family and friends. I don't accept friend requests from people I don't know, and don't "like" a ton of pages. As with anything, you have to be careful. HettyB had a great list of things to do to enhance your security, which we regularly do.
