Like Kassaundra, I use my rulers and squares for angles. I don’t have many specialty rulers because everything I need to do I can do with the angles on the rulers. And I don’t like the small squares. I work with 2 1/2 inch squares a lot but cannot keep a small rulers from sliding so I use my 9 1/2 inch ruler for virtually every cut for a block. That’s the one I’d be lost without. However, I did just take a “slice” off the corner I use most frequently (for the second time) so that corner is just slightly off. Time to get a new one and keep the old one as a spare. And Jayne, I see blocks online and elsewhere and draw them out too. It’s fun to recreate them. I loved geometry in school and piecing is nothing but geometry.
