Years ago, I used a blue pencil to put marks on an embroidery piece. Our instructor told us to spray with Tonic Water. Marks came right out and have not returned. I am thinking that since you have tried so much, that you may have actually set the stains worse. I agree with taking out a small bit of quilting to see if the lines go away. Is all the quilting done in squares? If so, have you thought about taking pretty ribbon and sewing it over the quilting lines? Wish I could see a full picture of the quilt. If the lines are on the thread, then I think you may have taught us something. When quilting, quilt by the line and not on the line. I'm learning a lot as others answer this thread. Looking forward to finding out what really works.
