One more thing to worry about...
I made the mistake once of using a stain removing product that had bleach in it. I had no way of knowing that. Looking at some of the products on my shelf, I saw that not all of them listed the ingredients. I thought that very unusual. I had to call the customer service number to find out why it was bleaching the spots I put it on, and sure enough, it had bleach in it. A clue can be if it says safe for all color fast fabric. So, test the stain removing product to be sure it isn't also a color remover.
