There's hope, xeno! I am 72, have had EQ7 for at least five years, and am finally figuring out how to use it. What helped me finally get started was signing up for "Catch the Waves", a series of free video tutorials:

She sends a link each day for 14 days to your email address. Each video tutorial is about 10 minutes. I was able to stop and start, rewind, re-watch, etc. to be able to reproduce what she was going in the videos. By the time I was finished, I could create simple quilt patterns to use as guides for myself.
