Oh we love our dogs! We've been fortunate to have never lost a dog before 12 1/2 years...so we haven't had very many. Right now we have Mia (a 6 year old yellow Lab) and Claire a 5 year old Catahoula mix (she was a rescue)... and together they are "the girls"... They respond to "Girls, let's go out" or wherever we're headed. They play together and nap together and warm my feet together while I'm quilting! Well, Mia warms my feet...Claire heads for the ONE chair in the house they can occupy!

I work one day every week or two as receptionist at a veterinary clinic...I found a small panel that I'm going to make for the clinic as a small wall hanging...it says "Dogs have owners; cats have staffs!" And it is SO TRUE at our clinic!! hahahaha!!!
