I have a 9 spoke wheel. They work fine on 2 other machines, but I am learning that even if the spokes are correct there are variations in depth and clearances on the back side. THat's not an issue on larger machines, but does affect these smaller 99.
I noticed there is a slight shoulder on the OE solid handwheel and that is lacking on the spoked wheel, that combined with the slightly deeper hole, causes it to touch.

Do you happen to have a repro hand wheel that could be measured for the depth of the hub?
I'm wondering if a repor might be a better solution
