Glue is my friend. For years I mostly did needle turn appliqué. My background as a drafter makes me to have points where they are supposed to be. I finally purchased tiny glue tips from http://Www.purpledaisys.com. They go on Elmer’s school glue and allow a very thin line of glue then you heat set with your iron. Stitch your seam and if you went beyond the seam line just pull apart. Washes out. Now I can piece and have points.
