Interesting that you started this thread now. :-) Just this last Saturday, I was working on the project from the netherworld. Finally decided to get it done...leave the wrinkles, just get it done! That was when the needle went through my index finger. My "ow" was different enough to bring my husband to the sewing room. We got the needle out of the machine, then were able to take the presser foot off, and the needle went through diagonally, so it missed the bone. Hubs didn't like the look of it, so I got out the pliers and pulled it out.
On the 4th of July, I burned the back of the same hand on the BBQ grill. Saw the doc yesterday, and he said he'd tell me to go home and take some time off, but home didn't sound like a safe place!! Too bad he didn't suggest a vacation!
