My daughter was pretty sure she'd never be back once she moved out, and she didn't seem to have any p[roblem with me taking over her room. I've noticed, though, that when she comes to visit she likes to go sit in the chair in my sewing room and work on whatever she's doing. The room has been repainted, but the wallpaper is the same, and I think it still kind of feels like "hers." I'm OK with it--I miss her at LEAST as much as she misses her room.
