Thank you for your suggestions. Part of me is totally fine with an upstairs loft, but then I think about the stairs and what if my knees give me trouble, etc? I am 46 years old now, so stairs aren't an issue for me. They might be one day. I have to keep this in mind when planning the house, don't I? Thanks again.
