Since I couldn't find a replacement light, I spent some time removing all the old duct tape goo. After that I was able to take the light fixture apart. The wire is riveted in place, but my husband says he can replace it. He plans on using some epoxy to fix the cracked parts. Hopefully this will fix things. I can understand how the light can get broken. When you lift the machine to lower it in the cabinet it is easy to grab the light by mistake.
