Necchi BU Nova - Need light!
I recently picked up a Necchi BU Nova, circa 1953.
The light fixture had duct tape on it and cracked wire insulation. Any ideas were I can find an replacement or equivalent? I have already checked eBay

There doesn't seem to be a way to replace the wire as there is no way to get to the connection. The plastic socket is broken with pieces missing. The place where the mounting piece fits into the socket has some threads, but most of that is gone.

Since I couldn't find a replacement light, I spent some time removing all the old duct tape goo. After that I was able to take the light fixture apart. The wire is riveted in place, but my husband says he can replace it. He plans on using some epoxy to fix the cracked parts. Hopefully this will fix things. I can understand how the light can get broken. When you lift the machine to lower it in the cabinet it is easy to grab the light by mistake.
