I too have had poor experiences in classes. Sometimes it's the teachers and sometimes it's me.
I had planned to go to a JN class, but was unable to attend. I'm glad I didn't. The only thing that was accomplished in the two day class was cutting out the pattern and a few pieces. The ladies are going to have another go at it in the spring.
I found an
18-part Youtube video for the pattern Fractured Star and will study it along with the pattern before I even begin to hopefully be ahead of the curve. I'm hoping the video class will contain enough clear information that I can work on my own.
