Charlee, we must have been thinking and posting at the same time...along the same lines! Noticed your post and went back to edit mine! Great minds think alike, huh?
We all love the security of a printed pattern...it saves us time and that's important, but, this is one pattern that would really be fun to graph...then you could color it to best suit your needs. I'd graph to finish size and then just add seam allowances to cutting list measurements. Just be sure to give credit for the source of inspiration.
