Battle Axe, you may be referring to "True Colors". I still use the concept for when I shop for clothing. I am still drawn to the same colors - Gem tones in bright/bold or in clean pastels. I am a "Winter". No orange, browns and few yellows. Black is my friend and is often my nutural as is purple. Browns don't come near my face but I do like those rich tones found in some fabric lines such as Kansas Troubles. Yes, my quilts stash does reflect my color leanings, but I do also try to stretch in new directions to match the likes or color choices of the recipient of my quilts.

Thanks for the reminder of True Colors. I had forgotten how much I still use the concept.
