I BOILED WATER!!!!!
Sorry, just being a smart aleck! I did the "boil water" test to start up the new Instant Pot, worked like a charm.
Then, I made some steel cut oatmeal! See how delicious it looks? (Okay, it looks very plain but I'm just getting started so I kept it simple....)
This appliance is not scary at all. In fact, it's so quiet I didn't know if it was even doing anything. It was funny because at the same time this was cooking I was reading a cookbook I downloaded, and the author was writing "you'll think it isn't doing anything"!!
Tomorrow I'm making eggs for dinner in the IP!!
