We usually take a spring trip for a few days but can't decide where to go. Two years ago we went to Colorado to see Pikes Peek, etc. Last year we went to Tennessee and the Smoky Mtns. We try to avoid large cities if at all possible. We love to take the back roads and pig trails. We love mountain scenery, wildlife, trees, rivers, waterfalls, etc. We like antique shops, flea markets, etc.....but not shopping malls. We are in Western Arkansas and willing to travel 6-700 miles from home. We haven't been north of Springfield, Mo. Anything up there to see? Any ideas anyone?
