This won't get you any mountain scenery, but it will get you rolling hills, Amish country, quilt shops and the flea market to end all flea markets.

I have never been to the area without seeing deer and turkeys along the way.
You should also visit Zimmerman's store near Rutledge. It's an Amish grocery/fabric store. You can buy many food items in bulk cheaply that I don't find in other places.
