I'm finding it hard to get motivated. Been stuck at home in our Seattle area snowstorm for most of two weeks now. Actually I've been getting out here and there, got to make sure we have cat food! And one of the dogs hurt himself, strained his hind leg so he had to go to the vet yesterday. He's had that before but never so bad, so this time we got x-rays. All I can say is ouch! to the wallet and poor dog is still not using that leg. But good news is nothing obvious out of joint, broken, etc. My vet's office has a flat roof and the heavy wet snow got in. When I got there a water remediation tech was testing the moisture levels (got to keep the black mold out!), the baseboards were torn out, the dropped ceiling taken out and only 2 out of the 5 exam rooms were usable -- but they were open, bless their hearts! To make matters worse, they had just remodeled last summer.
We got our first mail delivery in a week yesterday, and this coming Monday my trash will finally be picked up. We are on a "save the planet" plan here where you get one can per house and trash is only picked up every other week
Quilting-related I am planing on cutting some white-on white out of my stash for one of my current projects. I know what blocks I'm making, but I'm not so certain on the layout. I was going to spend some time playing in Electric Quilt yesterday but spent so much time at the vet and then getting supplies that I didn't do that. Maybe I can tear myself away from this computer and go to the computer that has it (out of licenses to install it on my current rig) and that will get me motivated to work on real fabric instead of virtual fabric.
Thanks for anyone who made it through my whining... going to go play with EQ and work on some positivity.
