I'm nearly done with this wall hanging I started making because our wall was so sad when the Christmas one came down. My quilting is very much beginner level. I ripped out all the hand quilting the first time (um, apparently starting from the centre and working out helps things not get too puffy), and I'm pretty proud of it now.

Because I'm new, I can't really tell if more quilting will make it too busy. I think I'm going to do more hand quilting in the corner blocks (maybe a heart or star in each block), but I don't want it to look unbalanced.
And I got the quilting design in the flying geese from a
skillbuilder panel I've been practicing on. At first, I was worried about making it look too busy with the white thread on the dark "sky" parts, so I left it out, but now I'm worried about it looking unfinished!

Any and all advice is welcome! I don't have anyone nearby who's a quilter to ask about this stuff.
