I also have both the Gidget 1 and 2. I have the 2 set up in my sewing room and I use two different machines with it. Since it's a bit of a pain to raise and lower the shelf for the machine (which involves either flipping the heavy table over or getting down underneath it on the floor, neither of which I'm particularly excited about), I made a wooden platform that I place onto the shelf and put one machine on top of, and the other machine I use without the extra platform.
