From the Aleene's website there are 3 Tacky Sprays but only 1 for fabric and it is permanent. So definitely not the same as basting spray...........

which to me, sounds much stronger adherence and a different chemical composition
than a temporary basting spray.
It's nice to seek out alternative products,
but sometimes it is best to stay with those created for the intended use.
