I loooovvveeed their fabric departments when they were well stocked - before their first closings of the fabric departments. I frequently found good quality fabric then.
Thank you, bearisgray. You make a very valid point. Why have a dept. if no one is buying your merchandise? Not everything is meant to be an heirloom. I have found fabric suitable for casual quilts or kid's quilts at Walmart. One just needs to be able to assess fabric and weave.
