If you have your square lined up correctly on your rectangle, you can just line up the corner of the square with the center line and be good to go. Hope it works for you!
I have had a piece of graph paper taped to my machine bed to just what the link shows. My paper has been on the Pfaff for years and if it gets worn some-replace with another piece of paper. I use Scotch clear tape and this method works perfectly.
