I've pieced in an RV but never took a long arm. It would have to be secured somehow and the head would probably need to come of. The head is heavy and expensive so that would not be an option for me. If a person was to live year round in an RV and just have it parked all the time it would be doable if the RV is big enough. A long arm needs to have space all around it. If the RV needs to move the long arm would need to be secured.
