For me it’s a combination. I have already quilted a king sized on my DSM. And I’ve sent out a intricate pp unicorn wall hanging to a LA. If I want stitch-in-the-ditch or simple straight lines, I’ll quilt it myself. If I want more pizazz, I send it to a very creative long-armer. For me, it’s too hard to do smooth curves etc on a large quilt on my sewing machine.
