Try a sample cut first as you may need to " + " the line by 1 or 2 on the SNC machine. I love using the machine to cut the intricate shapes for applique. Have you watched the tutorials for applique?
I'm learning the machine too. You reminded me that I have the owls EMB designs and hope to get them done someday.
