Painting treadle irons- what kind of paint? Also oak veneer source?
Enamel, I'm sure. Probably a spray can, but glossy? Matte? Semi- gloss? And the words White and USA are in gold, aren't they? My irons are so old and dirty its kind of hard to tell.
Part 2 is there are some chips missing from the veneer on the top. I have some veneer I harvested from a waterfall headboard, but its not the same as on the old oak cabinets. Is that quarter sawn?? If any of you have any expertise I'd live your help. Thanks!
