These days I read about 3D printed replacement gears, and I think some have access to advanced computerized lathe machines. A replacement gear might turn up with a bit of search, but you need to be very specific on the part(s) involved.
This is an old thread on what looks like the same model. If you like the machine and can make use of it, a repair should be within reach. It's only worth the effort on a good model. I found
