I got a Dressmaker! Kind of dashboardy!
This is a mixed news machine.

cute, right?
It was only $10.00 because the girl I bought it from said she couldn't get it to go. It keeps stalling at some point in the cycle, I believe the same place every time. Upon f. urther close inspection, it has a broken cam shaft gear. Sad
So, anybody have any ideas for how to fix this? Also, any instructions for taking this apart to get at it?
Thanks!

These days I read about 3D printed replacement gears, and I think some have access to advanced computerized lathe machines. A replacement gear might turn up with a bit of search, but you need to be very specific on the part(s) involved. This is an old thread on what looks like the same model. If you like the machine and can make use of it, a repair should be within reach. It's only worth the effort on a good model. I found this with just a bit of search.
