I really love my Bernina. I have several machines and my most expensive is a Viking Sapphire. I have come to the conclusion I don’t need such a complex machine with so many “bells and whistles “ when all I do is piece my quilts. I have several older machines and just love them...2 Featherweights, a Treadle, a 1951 Viking, a Janome and a Bernina all of which I have found at estate sales or on eBay.
