As I walked around their lovely home I noticed half a dozen other things I had made over the years- a lovely candle mat on a side table, a table topper under a lamp on another table, an appliqué and embroidered wall hanging, a set of placemats— I hadn’t seen these folks in about 8 years. It’s nice to rekindle this friendship and see they ( kept me close) while I was away. I had thought of them often over the years.
