How nice to see your gift being used. And isn't that just the way of things to realize how nifty something is that you've given away? Maybe you'll soon get to making one for yourself. Projects do tend to pile up, though.

As I walked around their lovely home I noticed half a dozen other things I had made over the years- a lovely candle mat on a side table, a table topper under a lamp on another table, an appliqué and embroidered wall hanging, a set of placemats— I hadn’t seen these folks in about 8 years. It’s nice to rekindle this friendship and see they ( kept me close) while I was away. I had thought of them often over the years.
