Dear Connie, I understand how you feel about your quilts. It reminds me of something I have had to come to terms with concerning raising my children... I know throughout those wonderful/difficult years that I DID try to do the very best I knew to do at the time and believe me, I made a lot of mistakes.
Our quilts become so much a part of us since we work so closely on them. I am trying to do my very best as I work on them; correct or redo obvious mistakes as I go. But, once done, I must remember that I did my best at the time. AND also, that most other people won't even see it so I try not to point my mistakes out!
