For some reason Minnesota A New Model A sewing machine wasn't a hot link, at least on my computer.

Actually, I think Terry's is a Davis as it has a squarish needle plate like the one in post #6 at MY Sears Minnesota sewing machine! I was thinking there are some Davis Minnesota A's that take 15x1 and others that take Davis long. ETA I just read further at that link and Jon said there is a casting and which casting uses which needle at post #8.
