I amdefinitely a "spoiled" quilter. My DH worked very hard over the years so we could have a decent retirement. He left me comfortable that I can buy what I want when I want if I want. I have top of the line sewing machines, a long arm for my own and my friends' use, and all the latest rulers/templates. A few weeks ago my DS was here, and I commented that I would like to put new siding on the house, his comment was, "Buy a new sewing machine instead, Mom. You will get more enjoyment out of that than new siding on the house." I think I'll keep this "boy", he knows what is important to me. My CC are paid off monthly, never made a car payment, and haven't made a house payment since we first got married.
