Been using them for years, always very good service. My local shops typically don't carry the Kona Solids I want, so I get them there. I like and recommend their scrap packs for stash building.

When I am looking for fabric, I am often looking for some very specific things and so my next stop is Amazon. Long story but I had my Ebay user identity stolen and really try not to go there.
Several of my Amazon deals led me to this local chain in Michigan -- right from where my Hubby is from!

Seems to be the sort of great all around local fabric store that has completely gone out of business in my area.

I want to cast a vote for Field's Fabrics in Michigan. I am so fortunate to have one of their shops about 10 minutes from home, so I never order online. They are a family owned business that has been around for years and years. Although with 7 sites they qualify as a "chain", each store has the feel of a local quilt shop. Employees know their "stuff" from making garments to home decorating to of course quilting. They will help you measure, double check your calculations and are full of ideas. But bottom line is the quality of their fabric is very good to excellent. Don't be afraid to order from them! I have shopped in three of their stores and never been disappointed.
