I shop online where ever there is a sale on the fabric brands I like. Same fabric, doesn't matter what store. I type quilting fabric sale in search and go from there. I have found some terrific deals from online shops I had never seen before.

I haven't done too much online shopping for quilt supplies, but the sites I like the most are Hancock's of Padducah, Missouri Star and AQS. I really generally prefer LQS's, for one, thing you can see and touch the fabric. Also, you can have the exact amount you want/need cut: 1/3 yard, 1 1/8 yards, etc.

If you want many fabrics from a line, Sewmanyquiltsinbend can be very helpful. They ship fast, too.

I was so upset the other day (still am, really) when I stopped into my favorite on-line shop, Fat Quarter Shop, and saw the changes they had made. No more scroll over magnification for individual fabrics, no more shop by color, inconvenient adding to wish list, lose browser position when back-paging. I don't know why they had to 'improve' the website, it was sheer perfection before.
