That always amuses me too, when I see a little snippet of fabric in someone else's project and recognize it as one I have in my stash or have worked with.

I especially love your selection of darker blues (middle row, right) and red/raspberry fabrics (top row, right). I am amused that I recognize the fabric on the top of the bottom row, right section as a Jinny Beyer fabric - I got some of it in Lone Star quilt kit I bought.
