I finally started this quilt after several years of staring at the pattern. I wanted to duplicate (as close as possible)
this quilt. I've pieced a little of it and don't think the fabrics are going to work. I was unable to find the shirting fabric with red to tie everything together. I just went with white on white, thinking it would work.
I need suggestions. Should I just enlarge the top and eliminate the border? (I have enough fabric left over to make it bigger.) Go find another red for the binding? Choose another color for the border?
It just doesn't look right and I can't figure out what will make it more cohesive. I've been staring at it all day and it doesn't change.
