Please explain the purpose of the Spoiler [plus sign in the edit bar]. I've mistakenly used it and was not able to delete it... just canceled my post and started over. And I tried to remove it on this member's post

It consists of the word Spoiler and what looks like a typing box. I was able to remove the typing box, but not the word Spoiler.
