So, part of my stash issue is that I tend to over buy yardage for projects for a "just in case"....then the extra that I didn't need is absorbed into stash. When I say over buy, I don't just mean a 1/2 yard. My latest quilt required browns, which I have very little since it is a least favorite color to work with. I designed a pattern on EQ8 and only bought what EQ8 recommended plus the yardage for binding. I'm pleased to report that I had very little scrap left, which I cut up into usable sizes. That was a nice feeling and one I hope to be mindful of in the future. Lesson learned....
