As someone posted earlier, using up stash often equals needing to bring more in to complete projects. Then the trip to the quilt shop.....will I stick to the list or succumb to temptation?

Today I stuck to the list, Yeah! A couple years ago my hubby bought me a jelly roll for Christmas. I started to make the MSQC North Star which calls for one jelly roll. I had very little waste but still fell well short of what was required for 36 blocks. Lens Mill (SW Ont. for those not familiar) does not clear out older lines and I was able to pick up .25m of 5 different fabrics so that I will be able to finish off. What a lucky break! Also needed .5m of a white blender, a small piece of aqua and blue and burgundy solids for some background. That’s it, that’s all, temptation avoided!

Feel good on one hand but on the other hand I keep thinking don’t pat yourself on the back too much.....it’s only been two months.
