I love the "check your receipt" advice! They ring up so quickly now, so it's hard to catch, but errors do happen, so check your receipt before you leave the store. Get it fixed if it needs it. Retailers are only human too. Everything is computerized, so they're not doing this to torment you personally. If they're not open to fixing their own errors, it's time to find another store. They deserve to lose your business if they can't make it right. And no, we're not asking for extra fabric, or for them to honor expired coupons or give us free quilt patterns. We just want basic customer service.
