Default Ran close on the bobbin!

One of my wife’s friends wanted to make a casserole carrier but didn’t like any of the pre-quilted fabric she found locally. She asked me to quilt a yard of fabric for her. I partially filled a bobbin thinking it couldn’t possibly take much thread to do this job. I started quilting, and ran out quickly, so I decided to do a full bobbin and just use what was left in my domestic. When my wife asked how much was left I pulled the bobbin case out and couldn’t believe how close it was. I had 23” to spare in the bobbin!

You can see where I had to bury and restart about a foot above the 19” mark on the yardstick.
