Givio, I just want to say that sometimes, what a piece needs is a bit of applique and a smaller border, so I would like us to have a bit of artistic license to move off the 6" border to make it a bit smaller if the piece calls for it, especially if we put a piece on point or at an angle on point. Also, to add some coordinating fabric if the piece needs it (like some piping to set off a section, for example). Since we are all pretty experienced, I feel comfortable giving all of you that kind of artistic license with my piece. How do you all feel about that?
