I have found that if you don't want to do free motion quilting you can do some beautiful quilting with your even feed foot. I even bought a book full of designs that you can make using your even feed. I just completed a crib quilt and I used my even feed foot to create curves from the top of the quilt to the sides of the quilt evenly spaced. I did this from both sides of the quilt so they crossed and formed a diamond effect. I think it would look very nice on your quilt. Just my suggestion.
