There are several threads about traveling foot pedals here on QB. There are three that stood out for me, however, I haven't tried any. I don't think there was a picture, but someone put a board (2x4?) across the back legs of sewing machine cabinet to keep it from getting pushed back behind the cabinet. Post #2 at
